सूत उवाच । अथोवाच महादेवी तां बालां प्रति सादरम् । अयि वत्से महाभागे शृणु मे परमं वचः
sūta uvāca | athovāca mahādevī tāṃ bālāṃ prati sādaram | ayi vatse mahābhāge śṛṇu me paramaṃ vacaḥ
சூதர் கூறினார்—அப்போது மகாதேவி அந்த இளம்பெண்ணை அன்புடன் நோக்கி, “அம்மா குழந்தையே, பெரும்பாக்கியவளே! என் பரம வாக்கை கேள்” என்றாள்।
