देव्युवाच । प्रीतास्मि ते मुनिश्रेष्ठ वत्से प्रीतास्मि तेऽनघे । किं वा ददाम्यभिमतं देवानामपि दुर्लभम्
devyuvāca | prītāsmi te muniśreṣṭha vatse prītāsmi te'naghe | kiṃ vā dadāmyabhimataṃ devānāmapi durlabham
தேவி கூறினாள்—முனிவரே சிறந்தவரே, உம்மீது நான் மகிழ்ந்தேன்; குழந்தையே, பாவமற்றவளே, உம்மீதும் நான் மகிழ்ந்தேன். தேவர்களுக்கும் அரிதான உன் விருப்ப வரம் எது? அதை அளிப்பேன்.
