evaṃ saṃvatsaraṃ kuryādvrataṃ pakṣadvaye budhaḥ | tataḥ saṃvatsare pūrṇe vratodyāpanamācaret

இவ்விதமாக அறிவுடையவன் இரு பக்ஷங்களிலும் முழு ஒரு ஆண்டு விரதத்தை அனுஷ்டித்து, ஆண்டு நிறைவுற்றபின் விரதத்தின் உத்யாபனத்தைச் செய்ய வேண்டும்।
