पुरा भवादृशः कश्चिद्ब्राह्मणो धर्मवर्जितः । द्राविडेषु स्थितो मूढः कर्मणा शूद्रतां गतः
purā bhavādṛśaḥ kaścidbrāhmaṇo dharmavarjitaḥ | drāviḍeṣu sthito mūḍhaḥ karmaṇā śūdratāṃ gataḥ
முன்னொரு காலத்தில் உன்னைப் போன்ற ஒரு பிராமணன் இருந்தான்; ஆனால் அவன் தர்மமற்றவன். திராவிட தேசத்தில் தங்கி, அந்த மூடன் தன் செயல்களால் சூத்ர நிலைக்குத் தாழ்ந்தான்.
