Transliteration
evaṃ kolāhale jāte rāṣṭranāśe ca dāruṇe | rājaputro'tha bhadrāyustadvārtāmaśṛṇodbalī
Translation
இவ்வாறு பெரும் ஆரவாரம் எழுந்து, நாட்டின் கொடிய அழிவு நிகழ்ந்தபோது, வல்லமைமிக்க இளவரசன் பத்ராயு அந்தச் செய்தியைக் கேட்டான்।
