ऋषभ उवाच । श्रुतिस्मृतिपुराणेषु प्रोक्तो धर्मः सनातनः । वर्णाश्रमानुरूपेण निषेव्यः सर्वदा जनैः
ṛṣabha uvāca | śrutismṛtipurāṇeṣu prokto dharmaḥ sanātanaḥ | varṇāśramānurūpeṇa niṣevyaḥ sarvadā janaiḥ
ரிஷபர் கூறினார்— “வேதம், ஸ்மிருதி, புராணங்களில் சனாதன தர்மம் உரைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. வர்ணம், ஆசிரமம் ஆகியவற்றிற்கு ஏற்ப மக்கள் அதை எப்போதும் கடைப்பிடிக்க வேண்டும்.”
