इत्थं सुविस्मितो राजा भीतः सा राजवल्लभा । प्रत्युवाच विहस्यैनं विनयेन शुचिस्मिता
itthaṃ suvismito rājā bhītaḥ sā rājavallabhā | pratyuvāca vihasyainaṃ vinayena śucismitā
இவ்வாறு அரசன் மிகுந்த வியப்பும் அச்சமும் அடைந்தான். அப்போது அரசனின் பிரியமானவள், தூய மெல்லிய புன்னகையுடன் மெதுவாகச் சிரித்து, பணிவுடன் பதிலளித்தாள்।
