Transliteration

prá bā́havā sisṛtaṃ jīváse na ā́ no gavyū́tim ukṣataṃ ghṛténa | ā́ mā́ jáne śravayataṃ yúvānā śrutáṃ me mitrā́varuṇā háve imā́

Translation

எங்கள் வாழ்விற்காக உங்கள் புயங்களை முன்னே நீட்டுங்கள்; எங்களுக்காக கோமார்க்கத்தை (கோ-பாதை) நெய்யால் நனைக்கச் செய்யுங்கள். ஓ இளமைமிகு இருவரே, மக்களிடையே என்னைச் செவியுறச் செய்யுங்கள்; ஓ மித்ரா-வருணா, என் இந்த அழைப்பு—இந்த ஹவனம்-ஆஹ்வானங்கள்—கேட்கப்படட்டும்.
