Transliteration

liṃgercitercitaṃ sarvaṃ jagatsthāvarajaṃgamam | saṃsārāṃbudhimagnānāṃ nānyattāraṇasādhanam

Translation

சிவலிங்கம் வழிபடப்பட்டால் அசைவதும் அசையாததும் ஆகிய முழு உலகமும் வழிபட்டதுபோல் ஆகும். சம்சாரக் கடலில் மூழ்கியவர்களுக்கு சிவலிங்க ஆராதனை தவிர வேறு கரைசேர்க்கும் சாதனம் இல்லை.
