The verse reflects the Purana’s common pattern where Saguna Shiva-worship (ritual devotion to Shiva’s manifest form, often through Linga-upasana) yields tangible fruits like heavenly attainment; these results encourage bhakti and dharma, ultimately orienting the devotee toward higher liberation.
