नियमान्स्वयमादाय ये त्यजंत्यजितेन्द्रियाः । प्रव्रज्यावासिता ये च हरस्यास्यप्रभेदकाः
niyamānsvayamādāya ye tyajaṃtyajitendriyāḥ | pravrajyāvāsitā ye ca harasyāsyaprabhedakāḥ
யார் தாமே நியமங்களை ஏற்றும், இந்திரியங்களை வெல்லாமல் அவற்றை விட்டு விடுகிறாரோ; மேலும் வெளிப்புறத் துறவற வாழ்வை மட்டும் ஏற்றாரோ—அவர்கள் இவ்வரன் (ஹரன்) வழியும் உபதேசமும் குலைக்கும்ோர் ஆவர்.
