Umāyāḥ Kriyāyoga-Rahasya
The Esoteric Teaching on Umā’s Kriyāyoga
devīmūrtiṃ pratiṣṭhāpya śubhartuṃ grahatārake | kṛtakṛtyo bhavenmartyo yogamāyāprasādataḥ

The verse teaches that sincere, properly performed consecration of the Goddess (Shiva’s Shakti) becomes spiritually complete through divine grace—Yogamāyā—bringing inner fulfillment and dharmic success.
In Shaiva understanding, Shiva is worshiped with Shakti as inseparable. Installing the Devī’s form supports Saguna upāsanā, complementing Linga worship by honoring the manifest power through which Shiva’s grace operates in the world.
It points to murti-pratiṣṭhā (icon consecration) performed at an auspicious time (ṛtu, nakṣatra, and favorable graha), with devotional intent and prayer for Yogamāyā’s prasāda (grace).
