Umāyāḥ Kriyāyoga-Rahasya
The Esoteric Teaching on Umā’s Kriyāyoga
ityādi puṇyadeśeṣu yatra kutra sthale'pi vā | kārayanmāturāvāsaṃ mukto bhavati bandhanāt

It teaches that selfless service (seva) to the Divine Mother—such as establishing her abode—loosens pāśa (bondage) and supports liberation through devotion aligned with Shaiva-Shakta dharma.
In Shaiva Siddhanta, Saguna worship includes honoring Śiva together with Śakti; providing an abode for the Mother complements temple-based devotion and reinforces the inseparable unity of Śiva-Śakti in practical worship.
A devotional practice of dāna and seva is implied—supporting or building a shrine/space for Devī, maintaining it with purity, and accompanying it with regular pūjā and mantra-japa (e.g., Śiva pañcākṣarī) as one’s capacity allows.
