It teaches that Śiva-bhakti is not merely emotional devotion but a transformative power: by Śiva’s grace (Pati), the bound soul (paśu) gains spiritual authority, clarity, and eminence.
Śiva-bhakti in Purāṇic practice is commonly expressed through Saguna worship—especially Linga-pūjā—where devotion, purity, and surrender become the means by which Śiva reveals His power and grants upliftment.
The takeaway is steady Śiva-bhakti: daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with Linga worship, supported by Śiva-dharma disciplines like bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa when appropriate.
