यत्कृत्वा मुच्यते पापैर्वधबंधकृतोद्भवैः । तुलादानं महत्पुण्यं सर्वपापक्षयंकरम्

Transliteration

yatkṛtvā mucyate pāpairvadhabaṃdhakṛtodbhavaiḥ | tulādānaṃ mahatpuṇyaṃ sarvapāpakṣayaṃkaram

Translation

இதைச் செய்தால் கொலை, சிறைபடுத்தல் போன்ற செயல்களால் உண்டாகும் பாவங்களிலிருந்து விடுதலை கிடைக்கும். துலா-தானம் மகாபுண்ணியம்; எல்லாப் பாவங்களையும் அழிப்பது.
