Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages at Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadyojāta
Type: stotra
Role: liberating
Offering: pushpa
It highlights stuti (devotional praise) as a direct means to approach Śiva, who is Paramānanda (Supreme Bliss) yet compassionately accessible through a saguna manifestation (here, a child-form) to uplift the devotee.
Though Śiva is worshiped as the formless Absolute and as the Liṅga, this verse emphasizes saguna upāsanā—Śiva taking a perceivable form so the devotee can offer heartfelt praise; the same devotion applies in Liṅga worship through hymns and mantra.
Recitation of Śiva-stotras (hymns) with focused devotion is suggested; as a practical takeaway, combine stotra-pāṭha with japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” as a bhakti-centered discipline.
