Suta Goswami (narrating the actions of Lord Shiva)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: teaching
It presents Shiva as Paramatma—perfectly self-possessed and supremely wise—who, after yogic absorption (samadhi), turns outward to guide the devas, showing that divine realization naturally overflows into compassionate instruction and cosmic governance.
Though the verse highlights Shiva’s transcendence (Paramatma and samadhi), it also depicts him as Śambhu who speaks and acts—affirming the Shiva Purana’s harmony of Nirguna depth with Saguna grace, which Linga-worship embodies as the accessible sign of the Supreme.
The verse points to dhyana culminating in samadhi—steady inward absorption on Shiva—followed by living guidance; practically, devotees can pair japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with meditation, then carry that clarity into dharma and service.
