देवस्तुतिः—नन्दिकेश्वरविज्ञप्तिः—शम्भोः समाधेः उत्थानम्

सुखमिच्छतु चेत्प्राज्ञो विधिवद्विषयांस्त्यजेत् । विषवद्विषयानाहुर्विषयैर्यैर्निहन्यते
sukhamicchatu cetprājño vidhivadviṣayāṃstyajet | viṣavadviṣayānāhurviṣayairyairnihanyate
நிலையான இன்பத்தை உண்மையாக விரும்பும் ஞானி, முறையாகப் புலன்விஷயங்களைத் துறக்க வேண்டும். முனிவர்கள், விஷயங்கள் விஷம்போல் என்கிறார்கள்; அவற்றாலேயே உயிர் அழிகிறது.
