देवस्तुतिः—नन्दिकेश्वरविज्ञप्तिः—शम्भोः समाधेः उत्थानम्

तस्मात्त्वया गिरिजा देव शंभो ग्रहीतव्या पाणिना दक्षिणेन । पाणिग्रहेणैव महानुभावां दत्तां गिरींद्रेण च तां कुरुष्व

tasmāttvayā girijā deva śaṃbho grahītavyā pāṇinā dakṣiṇena | pāṇigraheṇaiva mahānubhāvāṃ dattāṃ girīṃdreṇa ca tāṃ kuruṣva

ஆகையால், தேவன் சம்போ, நீ வலக்கையால் கிரிஜையின் கைப்பிடி (பாணிக்ரஹணம்) செய்ய வேண்டும். மலைநாதன் அளித்த அந்த மகத்தான குணமுடைய கன்னியை இவ்வே கைப்பிடி முறையால் ஏற்று, அவளை உன் தர்மபத்னியாக்கு.
