देवादिप्रार्थनां तां च शिवाज्ञासंकुलां गुरुः । न मेने स कुमारो हि महाहंकारविह्वलः
devādiprārthanāṃ tāṃ ca śivājñāsaṃkulāṃ guruḥ | na mene sa kumāro hi mahāhaṃkāravihvalaḥ
சிவனின் ஆணையால் நிறைந்த தேவர்களின் அந்த வேண்டுதலை அந்த குரு ஏற்கவில்லை; ஏனெனில் பேரகந்தையால் கலங்கிய குமாரன் அதை மதிக்கவே இல்லை.
