īśānādyaṃ tu vijñeyaṃ vāyavyāvadhi cāmbike | ityukto maṇḍalavidhirmayā tubhyaṃ ca pārvati

Translation

அம்பிகையே! மண்டலத்தின் அமைப்பு ஈசான திசையிலிருந்து தொடங்கி வாயவ்ய மூலைவரை அறியப்பட வேண்டும். பார்வதியே! இவ்வாறு மண்டல விதியை நான் உனக்கு உரைத்தேன்.
