Transliteration

śabdaikaguṇa ākāśaḥ śabdasparśaguṇo marut | śabdasparśarūpaguṇapradhāno vahnirucyate

Translation

ஆகாசத்திற்கு ஒரே குணம் ‘சப்தம்’; வாயுவிற்கு ‘சப்தம்’ மற்றும் ‘ஸ்பரிசம்’. அக்னி ‘சப்தம், ஸ்பரிசம், ரூபம்’ ஆகிய குணங்களில் பிரதானமென கூறப்படுகிறது।
