एवमभ्यर्थितस्त मुनिभिर्वेदपारगैः । सर्ववेदार्थविन्मुख्यः शुकतातो महामुनिः । वेदान्तसारसर्वस्वं प्रणवं परमेश्वरम्

இவ்வாறு வேதங்களைத் தாண்டிய முனிவர்கள் வேண்டியபோது, எல்லா வேதார்த்தங்களையும் அறிந்தோரில் முதன்மையான சுகரின் தந்தை மகாமுனி (வ்யாசர்), வேதாந்தச் சாரத்தின் முழுமையானது—பரமேஸ்வரரான பிரணவம்—என்பதை விளக்கினார்.
