सोमस्य मित्रावरुणोदिता सूर आ ददे । तदातुरस्य भेषजम् ॥
Transliteration
sómasya mitrāvaruṇóditā sū́ra ā́ dade | tád ātúrasya bheṣajám ||
Translation
ஸோமத்தைப் பற்றி—உதித்த சூரியனின் ‘ருத’த்தைத் தாங்கும் மித்ரனும் வருணனும்—(எமக்கு) அருளுகின்றனர்; அது உள்ளுறும் துயருற்ற உயிர்க்கு பைஷஜம், மருந்தாகிறது.
