आ सूर्यो न भानुमद्भिरर्कैरग्ने ततन्थ रोदसी वि भासा । चित्रो नयत्परि तमांस्यक्तः शोचिषा पत्मन्नौशिजो न दीयन् ॥
ā́ sū́ryo na bhā́numadbhir arkáir agne tatántha rodasī́ ví bhāsā́ | citró nayat pári tamā́ṃsy aktáḥ śóciṣā pátmann auśijó na dī́yan ||
சூரியனைப் போல கதிர் நிறைந்த ஸ்தோத்திரங்களால், அக்னியே, நீ உன் ஒளியால் இரு உலகங்களையும் விரித்தாய். பலவண்ணத் திகழ்வுடன், அபிஷேகமுற்றவனாய், நீ இருட்டுகளின் சுற்றிலும் வழி நடத்திச் செல்கிறாய்; வேகமாகச் செல்லும் ஜ்வாலையால்—ஔஷிஜனைப் போல—நீ (சரியான) வழித்தடத்தை அளிக்கிறாய்।
