अनश्वो जातो अनभीशुरुक्थ्यो रथस्त्रिचक्रः परि वर्तते रजः । महत्तद्वो देव्यस्य प्रवाचनं द्यामृभवः पृथिवीं यच्च पुष्यथ ॥
anaśvó jātó anabhī́śur ukthyò rathás tri-cakráḥ pári vartate rájaḥ | mahát tád vo devyásya prá-vācanam dyā́m ṛbhavaḥ pṛthivī́ṃ yát ca púṣyatha ||
குதிரைகளின்றி, கட்டுப்பாடின்றி, ஸ்துதியிற்குரிய ஒரு ரதம் பிறந்தது; மூன்று சக்கரங்களுடன் அது ரஜஸ்—ஒளிமிகு அந்தரிக்ஷப் பரப்புகளில்—சுற்றிச் செல்கிறது. ருபுக்களே! உங்கள் தெய்வீகப் புகழ் மிகப் பெரிது; ஏனெனில் நீங்கள் த்யௌவும் ப்ருதிவியும்—இவ்விரு நிலைகளையும்—போஷித்து வளர்க்கிறீர்கள்.
