Sukta 4.1
स चेतयन्मनुषो यज्ञबन्धुः प्र तं मह्या रशनया नयन्ति । स क्षेत्यस्य दुर्यासु साधन्देवो मर्तस्य सधनित्वमाप ॥
sá cetayán mánuṣo yajñá-bandhuḥ prá táṃ mahyā́ raśanáyā nayanti | sá kṣéty asyá dúryāsu sā́dhan devó mártasya sadhani-tvám āpa ||
அவன் மனிதனை யஜ்ஞபந்து (யஜ்ஞத்தின் உறவினர்) ஆக விழிப்பூட்டுகிறான்; பின்னர் அவர்கள் அவனை மகத்தான ரஷனா (வலிய கட்டுப்பாடு/கயிறு) கொண்டு முன்னே நடத்துகிறார்கள். அவன் இவனுடைய துர்யாக்களில் (வீடுகளில்) குடியிருந்து, காரியத்தை நிறைவேற்றுகிறான்; மர்த்தியனின் சாதனை-நிறைவேற்றத்தில் தேவன் சதனித்வம் (சகோதரத் தோழமை) அடைகிறான்.
