Sukta 3.47
सजोषा इन्द्र सगणो मरुद्भिः सोमं पिब वृत्रहा शूर विद्वान् । जहि शत्रूँरप मृधो नुदस्वाथाभयं कृणुहि विश्वतो नः ॥
sa-jóṣā indra sá-gaṇo marúdbhiḥ sómaṁ piba vṛtra-hā śūra vidvā́n | jáhi śatrū́m̐r ápa mṛ́dho nudasvā́thā́bhayaṁ kṛṇuhi viśvátó naḥ ||
இந்திரனே! மருத்கணத்துடன் ஒரே மகிழ்வில், ஒரே கூட்டத்தில்—விருத்ரஹா, வீரனே, அறிந்தோனே—சோமத்தை அருந்து. பகைவர்களை அழி; தாக்குதல்களை அகற்றித் தள்ளு; பின்னர் எங்களுக்கு எல்லாத் திசைகளிலிருந்தும் அச்சமின்மையை அருள்வாயாக.
