विदद्यदी सरमा रुग्णमद्रेर्महि पाथः पूर्व्यं सध्र्यक्कः । अग्रं नयत्सुपद्यक्षराणामच्छा रवं प्रथमा जानती गात् ॥

Transliteration

vídad yadī́ sarámā rugṇám adréḥ máhi pā́thaḥ pū́rvyaṃ sadhryàk kaḥ | ágraṃ nayat supády ákṣarāṇām ácchā rávaṃ prathamā́ jānatī́ gāt ||

Translation

சரமா அத்ரி (பாறை) யின் உடைந்த வாயில்-வெளியை—அந்த மகத்தான, ஆதிப் பாதையை—நேராகச் சென்று கண்டபோது, அப்படியே! அவள் அக்ஷரங்களின் உறுதியான அடிகள் (ஸுபத) முன்னணிக்குக் கொண்டு சென்றாள்; முதலில், அறிந்தவளாய், அந்த ரவம் (ஒலி) நோக்கிச் சென்றாள்.
