भूरीदिन्द्र उदिनक्षन्तमोजोऽवाभिनत्सत्पतिर्मन्यमानम् । त्वाष्ट्रस्य चिद्विश्वरूपस्य गोनामाचक्राणस्त्रीणि शीर्षा परा वर्क् ॥
bhūrīd índra ud-ínakṣantam ójo 'vābhinat sát-patir mányamānam | tvāṣṭrásya cid viśvá-rūpasya gónām ācakrāṇás trī́ṇi śī́rṣā párā vark ||
மிகுந்த வலிமையுடைய இந்திரன், தன்னைத் தானே பெரிதென எண்ணிய அகந்தைமிகு அதிபதியின் வீங்கிய ஆற்றலைத் தகர்த்தான். த்வஷ்ட்ரின் விஷ்வரூபனுடையதையும்—அவன் கோக்களை (கதிர்களை) உருவாக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தபோதும்—இந்திரன் மூன்று தலைகளையும் வெட்டி, தூரம் எறிந்தான்.
