Sukta 10.8
प्र केतुना बृहता यात्यग्निरा रोदसी वृषभो रोरवीति । दिवश्चिदन्ताँ उपमाँ उदानळपामुपस्थे महिषो ववर्ध ॥
prá ketúnā bṛhatā́ yāty agnír ā́ rodasī́ vṛṣabhó roravīti | diváś cid ántāṃ upamā́ṃ úd ānaḷ apā́m upásthe mahiṣó vavardha ||
மிகப் பெரும் கேது (ஒளிக் கொடி) உடன் அக்னி முன்னே செல்கிறான்; காளைபோல் இரு ரோதஸீ (வானும் பூமியும்) நோக்கி முழங்குகிறான். அளவுகளைத் தாண்டி உயர்ந்து, திவத்தின் (வானத்தின்) எல்லைகளையும் எட்டினான்; ஆபः (நீர்) மடியில் அந்த மகிஷன் (மகாபலவன்) வளர்ந்தான்.
