Sukta 10.45
दिवस्परि प्रथमं जज्ञे अग्निरस्मद्द्वितीयं परि जातवेदाः । तृतीयमप्सु नृमणा अजस्रमिन्धान एनं जरते स्वाधीः ॥
divás pári prathamáṃ jajñe agnír asmád dvitī́yaṃ pári jātávedāḥ | tṛtī́yam apsú nṛmánā ájasram índhāna enaṃ jarate svādhī́ḥ ||
த்யுலோகத்திலிருந்து முதலில் அக்னி பிறந்தான்; நம்மிடமிருந்து அவன் இரண்டாம் முறையாக ‘ஜாதவேதஸ்’ எனப் பிறக்கிறான். மூன்றாம் முறையாக அவன் அப்ஸு (நீருலகில்)—மனிதனின் சங்கல்ப-வலிமையால்—இடையறாது ஏற்றப்படுகிறான்; ஸ்வாதீ (நல்லுணர்வு) உடையவன், அவனை எப்போதும் ஏற்றிக்கொண்டே, தன் ஆற்றலால் அவனை வளர்க்கிறான்.
