प्र यत्ते अग्ने सूरयो जायेमहि प्र ते वयम् । अप नः शोशुचदघम् ॥

Transliteration

prá yát te agne sū́rayo jā́yemahi prá te vayám | ápa naḥ śóśucad aghám ||

Translation

அக்னியே! உன் ஒளிமிகு சக்தியில் நாம் பிறப்பெடுப்போம்—ஆம், உன்னிலேயே நாம் முன்னே செல்வோம்—எம்மை ஒட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் அ஘ம் (பாவம்) எரித்து அகற்று.
