Sukta 1.96
रायो बुध्नः संगमनो वसूनां यज्ञस्य केतुर्मन्मसाधनो वेः । अमृतत्वं रक्षमाणास एनं देवा अग्निं धारयन्द्रविणोदाम् ॥
rāyó budhnáḥ saṃgámano vásūnāṃ yajñásya ketúr manmá-sādhanó véḥ | amṛtatváṃ rákṣamāṇāsa enaṃ devā́ agníṃ dhārayann dráviṇo-dām ||
அவன் ரயி (செழிப்பு) யின் அடித்தளம்; வசுக்கள் (செல்வங்கள்) கூடும் சங்கமம்; யஜ்ஞத்தின் கேது (கொடி), மேலும் மனஸா (உந்தப்பட்ட உள்ளம்) யின் செயலை நிறைவேற்றுபவன். அவனது அம்ருதத்துவத்தை காத்து, தேவர்கள் அக்னியை—த்ரவிணோதா, செல்வ-வளமளிப்பவன்—தாங்கி நிலைநிறுத்தினர்.
