Sukta 1.57
अध ते विश्वमनु हासदिष्टय आपो निम्नेव सवना हविष्मतः । यत्पर्वते न समशीत हर्यत इन्द्रस्य वज्रः श्नथिता हिरण्ययः ॥
ádha te víśvam ánu ha āsad iṣṭáye ā́po nimnéva sávānā haviṣmátaḥ | yát párvate ná samáśīt haryatá índrasya vájraḥ śnáthitā hiraṇyáyaḥ ||
அப்போது யாகத்தின் ஒழுங்கில் அனைத்தும் உன்னைத் தொடர்ந்து வந்தன; ஹவிஷ்மான் யஜமானனின் சவனங்கள் (சோம நசுக்கல்) நோக்கி, தாழ்விடத்தை நோக்கி நீர் ஓடுவது போலவே நீர்கள் வந்தன. விரும்பத்தக்க இந்திரனின் ஹிரண்யய (பொன்மய) வஜ்ரம் மலையில் நின்றுவிடாமல், அதை நொறுக்கி பிளந்து வீழ்த்தியது.
