Sukta 1.152
अपादेति प्रथमा पद्वतीनां कस्तद्वां मित्रावरुणा चिकेत । गर्भो भारं भरत्या चिदस्य ऋतं पिपर्त्यनृतं नि तारीत् ॥
apā́d eti prathamā́ padvátīnāṃ kás tád vāṃ mitrāvaruṇā́ ciketā | gárbho bhāráṃ bharaty ā́ cid asya ṛtáṃ pipárty anṛ́taṃ ní tārīt ||
பாதமுள்ளவற்றில் முதன்மையானது—அது பாதமின்றியே நகர்கிறது; ஓ மித்ரா-வருணா, உங்களின் இவ்விரகசியத்தை யார் உணர்ந்தார்? கர்ப்பம் (மறைந்த விதை) தன் பாரத்தைத் தாங்குகிறது; அது ‘ருத’த்தை நிறைவு செய்கிறது, ‘அந்ருத’த்தைத் தாழ்த்தி அடக்குகிறது.
