प्र सु ज्येष्ठं निचिराभ्यां बृहन्नमो हव्यं मतिं भरता मृळयद्भ्यां स्वादिष्ठं मृळयद्भ्याम् । ता सम्राजा घृतासुती यज्ञेयज्ञ उपस्तुता । अथैनोः क्षत्रं न कुतश्चनाधृषे देवत्वं नू चिदाधृषे ॥

Transliteration

prá sú jyeṣṭháṃ ni-cirā́bhyāṃ bṛhán námo havyáṃ matíṃ bharatā mṛḷayád-bhyāṃ svādiṣṭháṃ mṛḷayád-bhyām | tā́ sam-rā́jā ghṛtā́sutī yajñé-yajñe úpa-stutā | áthai noḥ kṣatráṃ ná kútaś canā́dhṛṣe deva-tváṃ nú cit ā́dhṛṣe ||

Translation

நீண்ட காலம் நிலைத்திருக்கும், அருளளிக்கும், மிக இனிமையாக அருள் புரியும் அந்த இருவருக்காக—மிக மூத்ததும் பேரளவானதும் ஆன வணக்கத்தை; ஹவியாகிய மனத் தியான-அர்ப்பணத்தையும்; ஸ்துதியையும் கொண்டு வா. அவர்கள் இரு சம்ராட்கள்; நெய்-செழுமையான சோமசுதி உடையோர்; ஒவ்வொரு யாகத்திலும் போற்றப்படுபவர்கள்—அப்போது அவர்களின் க்ஷத்ரம் (அரசாட்சிப் பலம்) எங்கும் தாக்கமுடியாதது; அவர்களின் தேவத்துவமும் சிறிதும் ஆக்கிரமிக்க இயலாதது.
