महोदरवधः
The Slaying of Mahodara
तांतुभिन्नांशिलांदृष्टवासुग्रीवःक्रोधमूर्छितः ।सालमुत्पाट्यचिक्षेपराक्षसेरणमूर्थनि ।।6.98.15।।
tāṃ tu bhinnāṃ śilāṃ dṛṣṭvā sugrīvaḥ krodhamūrcchitaḥ |
sālam utpāṭya cikṣepa rākṣase raṇamūrdhani ||6.98.15||
சிதைந்த பாறையைப் பார்த்த சுக்ரீவன் கோபத்தில் மயங்கியவனாய், ஒரு சால மரத்தைப் பிடுங்கி போரின் நடுவில் அந்த ராக்ஷசன் மீது எறிந்தான்.
Seeing the fragmented rock, Sugriva was deluded with anger, and tearing up a sala tree, he shattered on the Rakshasa (Mahodara) in the battlefield.
