The Slaying of Indrajit
ततोऽभ्यनन्दन्सम्हृष्टास्समरेहरियूथपाः ।तमप्रतिबलंदृष्टवाहतंनैरृतपुङ्गवम् ।।।।
tato 'bhyanandan saṃhṛṣṭāḥ samare hari-yūthapāḥ |
tam apratibalaṃ dṛṣṭvā hataṃ nairṛta-puṅgavam ||
அப்போது போர்க்களத்தில் மகிழ்ச்சியுற்ற வானரக் கூட்டத் தலைவர்கள் ஆரவாரித்து ஆனந்தித்தனர். ஒப்பற்ற வலிமையுடைய ராட்சசச் சிறந்தவன் வீழ்ந்து கொல்லப்பட்டதைக் கண்டு, அவர்கள் லக்ஷ்மணனை ஜயகோஷத்துடன் பாராட்டி வாழ்த்தினர்॥
