ववर्षुःपुष्पवर्षाणितदद्भुतमिवाभवत् ।प्रशशंसुर्हतेतस्मिन्राक्षसेक्रूरकर्मणि ।।।।

Transliteration

vavarṣuḥ puṣpa-varṣāṇi tad adbhutam ivābhavat |

praśaśaṃsur hate tasmin rākṣase krūra-karmaṇi ||

Translation

அவர்கள் மலர்மழையைப் பொழிந்தனர்; அது ஓர் அதிசயம்போல் தோன்றியது. கொடுஞ்செயலுடைய அந்த ராக்ஷசன் வீழ்ந்தபின், அந்த வீரச் செயலை அவர்கள் புகழ்ந்தனர்.
