इन्द्रजित्–लक्ष्मणयोर् घोरः शरयुद्धः
Indrajit and Lakshmana’s Fierce Exchange of Arrows
विषण्णवदनंदृष्टवाराक्षसंरावणात्मजे ।सौमित्रिंयुद्धसंयुक्तंप्रत्युवाचविभीषणः ।।6.89.3।।
viṣaṇṇavadanaṃ dṛṣṭvā rākṣasaṃ rāvaṇātmaje |
saumitriṃ yuddhasaṃyuktaṃ pratyuvāca vibhīṣaṇaḥ || 6.89.3 ||
ராவணனின் மகனான அந்த ராட்சசன் முகம் சோர்ந்து மனம் தளர்ந்திருப்பதைக் கண்டு, போரில் முழுமையாக ஈடுபட்டு நின்ற சௌமித்ரி (லக்ஷ்மணன்) அவர்களை விபீஷணன் நோக்கி உரைத்தான்.
