कुम्भकर्णवधः
The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
ततोहरीणांतदनीकमुग्रंदुद्रावशूलंनिशितंप्रगृह्य ।तस्थौ स तस्यापततःपुरस्तान्महीधराग्रंहनुमान् प्रगृह्य ।।।।
tato harīṇāṃ tad anīkam ugraṃ dudrāva śūlaṃ niśitaṃ pragṛhya |
tasthau sa tasyāpatataḥ purastān mahīdharāgraṃ hanumān pragṛhya ||
அப்போது அவன் கூர்மையான சூலத்தைப் பிடித்து, வானரர்களின் அந்தக் கடுமையான படையின்மேல் வெகுவேகமாகப் பாய்ந்தான். அவன் முன்வந்து தாக்கும்போது, ஹனுமான் ஒரு மலைச்சிகரத்தைப் பிடித்து உறுதியாக நின்று, அதைத் தன் முன்னே தடையாக வைத்தான்.
Thereafter Kumbhakarna holding a sharp pike rushed towards Hanuman who uprooted a mountain peak and obstructed him placing it before him.
