कुम्भकर्णवधः
The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
इत्युक्तवाक्यंतद्रक्षःप्रोवाचस्तुतिसंहितम् ।मृधेघोरतरंवाक्यंसौमित्रिःप्रहसन्निव ।।।।
ity uktavākyaṃ tad rakṣaḥ provāca stuti-saṃhitam | mṛdhe ghorataraṃ vākyaṃ saumitriḥ prahasann iva ||
இவ்வாறு புகழ்ச்சியுடன் கூடிய, போர்க்களத்தில் மிகக் கொடிய சொற்களை அந்த இராட்சசன் கூறினான்; அப்போது சௌமித்ரி லக்ஷ்மணன் சிரித்ததுபோல் பதிலுரைத்தான்।
