शुकवाक्यं (Śuka’s Report on the Vānara Host) / Śuka Describes the Allied Forces to Rāvaṇa
ज्येष्ठःकेसरिणःपुत्त्रोवातात्मजइतिश्रुतः ।हनूमानितिविख्यातोलङ्घितोयेनसागरः ।।6.28.10।।
jyeṣṭhaḥ kesariṇaḥ putro vātātmaja iti śrutaḥ |
hanūmān iti vikhyāto laṅghito yena sāgaraḥ ||6.28.10||
அவன் கேசரியின் மூத்த புதல்வன் என்றும், வாயுதேவனின் புதல்வன் என்றும் புகழ்பெற்றவன். அவனே ‘ஹனுமான்’ என உலகில் பிரசித்தி பெற்றவன்; அவனே கடலைத் தாண்டினான்।
"He is the eldest son born of Kesari and the son of Wind-God and is popularly known as Hanuman. He leapt over the sea and came."
Dharma is recognizing and speaking truthfully about merit: power should be acknowledged without envy or denial, especially when it affects just decision-making.
Śuka identifies Hanumān to Rāvaṇa as a principal Vānara hero and recalls his extraordinary crossing of the ocean to reach Laṅkā.
Hanumān’s valor and capability—courage joined with capacity for decisive action in service of a righteous cause.
