अनुवालिसुतस्यापिबलेनमहताऽवृतः ।वीरस्तिष्ठतिसङ्ग्रामेसेतुहेतुरयंनलः ।।।।
anuvālisu-tasyāpi balena mahatā 'vṛtaḥ |
vīras tiṣṭhati saṅgrāme setu-hetur ayaṃ nalaḥ ||6.26.21||
மேலும் வாலியின் புதல்வனின் பின்னால், பெரும் படையால் சூழப்பட்டு, பாலம் அமைந்ததற்குக் காரணமான அந்த வீரன் நலன் போர்க்களத்தில் உறுதியாக நிற்கிறான்.
"Behind this Vali's son is Nala surrounded by a huge army force. He is heroic in war. He is the cause of construction of the bridge."
