विभीषणागमनम्
Vibhīṣaṇa’s Arrival and the Debate on Refuge
सचनप्रतिजग्राहरावणःकालचोदितः ।उच्यमानंहितंवाक्यंविपरीतइवौषधम् ।।6.17.15।।
sa ca na pratijagrāha rāvaṇaḥ kālacoditaḥ |
ucyamānaṃ hitaṃ vākyaṃ viparīta ivauṣadham ||6.17.15||
காலத்தின் தூண்டுதலால் இட்டுச் செல்லப்பட்ட ராவணன், தன்னிடம் கூறப்பட்ட நலவார்த்தையை ஏற்கவில்லை; அழிவை நோக்கிச் செல்லும் மனிதன் குணமளிக்கும் மருந்தையும் தவறென எண்ணி மறுப்பதுபோல்.
