सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः
हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
वृथागर्जितनिश्चेष्टा राक्षस्यः पिशिताशनाः।।।।रावणाय शशंसुस्ताः सीताध्यवसितं महत्।
vṛthāgarjita-niśceṣṭā rākṣasyaḥ piśitāśanāḥ | rāvaṇāya śaśaṃsus tāḥ sītādhyavasitaṃ mahat ||
அவர்களின் கர்ஜன அச்சுறுத்தல்கள் வீணானதால், முயற்சிகள் பலனின்றி போன அந்த மாமிசபோஜி ராட்சசிகள், சீதையின் மகத்தான உறுதியை ராவணனிடம் அறிவித்தனர்.
