सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः
हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
कर्तुमर्हसि रामस्य साहाय्यं विषये सती।अथवा मैथिलीं दृष्ट्वा रामं चाक्लिष्टकारिणम्।।।।आगमिष्यामि ते वक्त्रं सत्यं प्रतिशृणोमि ते।
kartum arhasi rāmasya sāhāyyaṃ viṣaye satī | athavā maithilīṃ dṛṣṭvā rāmaṃ cākliṣṭakāriṇam || āgamiṣyāmi te vaktraṃ satyaṃ pratiśṛṇomi te |
நீ ராமனுடைய எல்லைக்குள் வாழ்கிறாய்; ஆகவே ராமனுடைய காரியத்திற்கு துணை செய்வது உனக்கே உரியது. இல்லையெனில் நான் மைதிலியைத் தரிசித்து, தளர்வின்றி செயற்படும் ராமனிடம் செய்தியை அறிவித்து, மீண்டும் வந்து உன் வாயில் புகுவேன்—இது உண்மை என உனக்கு உறுதி அளிக்கிறேன்.
