Transliteration

tatas tāṃ śiṃśupāṃ sītā rākṣasībhiḥ samāvṛtā ॥5.24.18॥

abhigamya viśālākṣī tasthau śoka-pariplutā ।

Translation

பின்னர் விசாலக் கண்களையுடைய சீதை ராக்ஷசிகளால் சூழப்பட்டவளாய் அந்தச் சிம்ஷுபா மரத்தை அணைந்து, துயரால் மூழ்கி அங்கே நின்றாள்।
