एकाक्षीमेककर्णां च कर्णप्रावरणां तथा।गोकर्णीं हस्तिकर्णीं च लम्बकर्णीमकर्णिकाम्।।5.22.33।।हस्तिपाद्यश्वपाद्यौ च गोपादीं पादचूलिकाम्।एकाक्षीमेकपादीं च पृथुपादीमपादिकाम्।।5.22.34।।अतिमात्रशिरोग्रीवामतिमात्रकुचोदरीम्।अतिमात्रास्यनेत्रां च दीर्घजिह्वामजिह्विकाम्।।5.22.35।।अनासिकां सिंहमुखीं गोमुखीं सूकरीमुखीम्।

Transliteration

ekākṣīm eka-karṇāṃ ca karṇa-prāvaraṇāṃ tathā |

go-karṇīṃ hasti-karṇīṃ ca lamba-karṇīm akarṇikām ||

hasti-pādyaśva-pādyau ca go-pādīṃ pāda-cūlikām |

ekākṣīm eka-pādīṃ ca pṛthu-pādīm apādikām ||

ati-mātra-śiro-grīvām ati-mātra-kuca-odarīm |

ati-mātrāsya-netrāṃ ca dīrgha-jihvām ajihvikām ||

anāsikāṃ siṃha-mukhīṃ go-mukhīṃ sūkarī-mukhīm ||

Translation

அங்கே விகாரமான உருவமுடைய ராட்சசிகள் இருந்தனர்—ஒருகண் உடையோர், ஒருகாது உடையோர், காதுகள் மூடப்பட்டோர்; மாட்டுக் காதுடையோர், யானைக் காதுடையோர், நீளமாகத் தொங்கும் காதுடையோர், காதில்லாதோர்; யானைப் பாதம் உடையோர், குதிரைக் குளம்பு உடையோர், மாட்டுக் குளம்பு உடையோர், பாதங்களில் முடி உடையோர்; ஒருபாதம் உடையோர், அகன்ற பாதம் உடையோர், பாதமற்றோர்; அளவுக்கு மீறிய தலை-கழுத்து உடையோர், பெரும் மார்பும் வயிறும் உடையோர்; மிகப் பெரிய முகமும் கண்களும் உடையோர்; நீண்ட நாவுடையோர், நாவில்லாதோர்; மூக்கில்லாதோர்—சிங்கமுகி, கோமுகி, பன்றிமுகி ஆகியோரும் இருந்தனர்.
